Home Is Where The Heart Is
I see what you’re doing at night,
My eyes are watching “all of you” and it’s a terrible sight.
Still I’m searching and will continue to look everywhere,
And find no one, that truly loves me, not the slightest care.
Hmmm, what must a Father in heaven do,
I’m only trying to reach out to each and every one of you.
So, it appears the end of the road is near,
My words have fallen on too many deaf ears.
As my son would say, “O-Kee-Dokey”,
Gonna light a fire under you, that’s why he calls me “Smokey”.
The fire’s going to hit your behind,
Maybe it’ll help you find, what’s been lost, which is, your ever loving minds.
As you go out to have a smoke,
And think that I’m the biggest joke,
My son knows otherwise, he has “The Burning Desire”,
Bursting like Mount Pinatubo and currently erupting with exceedingly hot flames and fire.
He and I are about to go on a “seek and destroy mission”,
And gonna do some serious fishin’.
When we arrive it’ll be like two thieves in the night,
Been through this billions of times before and we’re both “out of sight”.
We both are about to get down,
How will you be, when you’re found?
We both play for keeps,
A lot of you all will be going to sleep.
Have no fear,
I’m always here,
Just look around,
I can be easily found.
Ashes to ashes,
And dust to dust,
It’s nearing the end and just like at the start,
The mischievous lust is still in your hearts.
Planet earth, prepare for your names to be called,
I’m coming down with a batch that I’ve grabbed off the wall.
We’re coming for you all, my son and I, he’s my one and only lighting rod,
He’s the only one allowed to call me dad, everyone else…
