Death (Takes A Holiday)
Today is a lucky day for quite a few of you peeps,
If it wasn’t for my son, Alvin Mann, I would be putting some of you to sleep.
It doesn’t bother him, one way or the other, he knows no one will touch, of him, a single hair,
So why bother, asking his dad, if in fact he doesn’t care?
My son always tries to keep a low profile and blend in,
But, of course, you all know, that’s where most of the sinners begin.
I know my son and I watch him all the time,
Even with me, he’s continually stepping out of line.
He’s the best performer I’ve ever had, so I give him many breaks,
He is acutely aware not to step too far outside the circle I’ve placed him in, that, even for him, “Would Be A Big Mistake”.
Were I to have sent home, hmm say 18 (Mini-Me picked that number) or more,
There’s no doubt in his mind 5-0 would have been busting down his door.
Believe me, that’s the only reason he asked,
My son has more to concern himself with, than his dads’ tasks.
So be a good idea to leave my son “completely alone”,
Unless of course, you’re ready to come home.
So this is what you good (NOT) peeps in D.C. are going to do,
Besides learning (this is a subtle hint) to tie your gym shoe.
You will contact my son and ask for his bucket list,
It will be filled out completely and go off, without a hitch.
Help a brother out,
Unless you really want me to scream and shout.
I need to make this 100% clear,
So everyone had better clean the wax out of your ears.
When my son arrives in D.C. he’d better not have any accidents or get detained,
For any reason, or “ALL HELL’S GOING TO BREAK LOOSE”, and it’ll be much more than rain.
My son and I have been through this many times before,
He knows, exactly what’s on the other side of “Heaven’ Door”.
He knows what it feels like, to sit in the lap of “THE LIVING GOD”,
Alvin Mann, aka Mini-Me, aka my knucklehead son is my one and only Lightning Rod.
He’s my very first creation, so you better leave him alone,
Or for sure, you’ll be going home.
