Little Drummer Boy
I keep hearing the sound,
And it reverberates all around.
I keep hearing the sonic boom,
It’s coming here, there, everywhere. From the sun to the moon.
The constant beat of the drums,
It’s played by my son.
Telling me, “yo dude, we about to get down”,
‘C’mon, daylight burn-N, quit messin’ around.
This is where, I have to put the gym shoe creeper in check,
And let him know, better show some respect.
I always give my only begotten knucklehead son, a lot of rope,
Even though at times, he slides down a slippery slope.
But, he does give me quite a bit of joy,
Especially when he plays the role of “Little Drummer Boy”.
So, don’t be surprised if you hear one day,
The worldwide sound as he plays.
Listen for the sound,
Shortly, it’ll be coming, all around.
The beating of the drums,
It’ll be my son.
Pa rum pum pum pum,
My son and his drums!
Your Father
God
